Three Year-old and Four Year-old Classes

I have been married to my husband, Marty, for 21 years and have three gorgeous children, Jordon, 19, Cameron, 17, and Allison, almost 15.  Allison is a Freshman this year and Cameron is a Junior at Lakota East.  My oldest, Jordan is a Sophomore at Ohio University.  I love being a mom!  I have a Bachelors Degree in Recreation Administration from Indiana University, and have always worked with children.  I worked for the Parks and Recreation Department throughout high school and college.  After graduating, I moved to Dallas and worked for the Boys & Girls Club (in Dallas and later Fort Worth).  While at "the Club", I was the Aquatics Director, the Education Director and eventually the Branch Director, responsible for the operations of the entire club.  After my second child was born, I decided not to return to the working world, and I opened my own in-home child care.  I did this for almost 5 years.  I taught preschool (4 year-olds) for 7 years in Grapevine, Texas.  Six years ago, my husband was transferred up here to Cincinnati.  This is my fifth year teaching at Lord of Life Christian Preschool.  I absolutely love teaching.  It is so rewarding!  This is such a fun age - they pick up on so much.  I am going to work very hard to ensure that the children have a great school experience and are well prepared for Kindergarten.  I am SO EXCITED to be teaching the 3's & 4's classes again.  We strive very hard to develop a lifelong love of learning and have tons of fun along the way.

I’m married to Brian and have 3 beautiful children - Sarah, 23 years old, a graduate of Bowling Green State University, Logan, 16 years old, a sophomore at Lakota East High School, and Devon, 11 years old, a 5th grader at Union Elementary.  I am actively involved in Girl Scouts and the Union Elementary PTSO. I have lived in West Chester, Ohio since I was 8 years old.  I love children!  I had my own in-home daycare for 10 years before becoming a preschool teacher.  If you have children that have attended Lord of Life Christian Preschool in the past, you may have seen my face around. I brought several children that I babysat to this program, as well Devon, my youngest daughter.  Devon attended LOLCP for 3 years (3’s, 4’s and Pre-K).  I also served on the Preschool Board for 3 ½ years as Secretary and parent representative. I love teaching preschool!  This age is so much fun to teach!
